Pet Care Specialist:
Description: You work at the Daycare helping to care for the dogs. Duties include
monitoring dog play groups so that the dogs play safely together, cleaning up after the dogs,
customer service, taking payments, and daily cleaning duties. Pet Care Specialists must
be confident around large dogs and large groups of dogs. Job includes spending time
outdoors in good and bad weather.
One shift per week you will be responsible for setting up for Training classes that are held at
the Daycare in the evening. You will be required to move bulky crates and portable fences
as well as set out tables and chairs for the students.
Please note: You will be supervising the dogs the majority of the time and NOT playing with
the dogs. This is not a job where you 'play with dogs all day -- and you must be prepared to
be leader of the pack . (Although, you do get to lavish a lot of attention on them and get
doggy kisses on a regular basis! :)
Great job if you love dogs!
Shift: M-F 3:00pm - 6:00pm. Occasional weekend and late evening shifts are available to
you as well if you prove yourself to be reliable. Excellent shift for college students.
Requirements: Good with dogs, able to follow instructions well, trustworthy, flexible,
drug-free, have your own transportation, High School graduate.
Wages: $8.50 for first 2 months then incremental pay increases depending on
performance and time with the company.
